Introducing: The Lynx List

I’m excited to share a new paid companion section of this newsletter for startup investors: The Lynx List. Each week, I’ll spotlight 1-2 NYC-based pre-seed/seed startups that are actively fundraising, featuring:

• A short video interview between me and the founder

• An investment memo-style writeup

Over the past few years, I’ve been focused on building stronger connections in the NYC startup ecosystem through Lynx Collective. Since 2024, we’ve hosted ~90 in-person events with thousands of founders and over 40 VC firms.

Along the way, I’ve met incredible founders building ambitious companies and sharp investors eager to meet them. But there’s only so much ground we can cover through events. The Lynx List is designed to bridge that gap.

Our goal for these posts is to give investors a richer understanding of each startup, beyond a pitch deck, and simulate the first meeting with the founder.
